1st tune that me and my mate have done together... just looking to get some constructive comments and not... "shit that is" etc.

Its not complete as i think we are changing the first organ, and also the drums as there isnt enough going on in the drums !

http://soundcloud.com/dancarr08uk/bass- ... fix-sample

Thanks Mix Pan Warriors

Sure you've showed me this before??

Anyway there's something clashing, I think its the organ you're using. It's not been sampled right.

Think you showed me this before, nice ideas lads!

the thing thats clashing is the second drop. You've switched the 2nd drop into a different key, but then put the warp from the first drop under the other bass sounds. You could do either if these to sort it out:

1. Take the warp out
2. Put the warp notes into the new key to suit the 4x4 type bass of the 2nd drop
3. or change the bass at the start of the 2nd drop (3:07) to the to the original key (which it goes back to at 3:28)

If you need more help gimme a bell k, keep at it tho :!: :!: :!:

lol no probs man!

You can change key as much as u like with a track with no real vocal, you just need to make sure you change all the instruments, synths and basses to the new key so theirs nothing clashing.

If you've got a voca and you're wanting to switch keys you'll have to pitch it up/down, you need good ears though to know how much to pitch it.
